PARENT COACHING & TUTORING SERVICES

COVID-19 has challenged the educational landscape and the concept of providing modifications and accommodations to children with disabilities.   We recognize that parents have not been equipped to administer the special education services for their child and may be both lost and frustrated.  We understand the frustration and lack of training and have created a service to eliminate the worry and aggravation.

We are now offering parent coaching to help parents manage their child’s educational needs and possible behavior challenges.  We are providing interactive and educational activities for children based on their present levels of performance (PLOPs). 

In addition, we are offering tutoring services for those children who may have fallen behind or need additional supports to be successful academically. Additionally, we are providing behavior plans and strategies for parents should their child present with behavior challenges.  Lastly, we are offering parent training to parents derived from a needs-based assessment, on how we can best serve them and their child during this time.
