Eleven years ago, I was in this exact place, I knew what I wanted to do but wanted the guidance and direction of a mentor.  However, everyone I asked or talked with didn’t seem to have time or be interested in mentoring me.  I ended up going at it alone and figuring things out on my own.  I know, though, if I’ve had a mentor I could have avoided some of the pitfalls and errors made along the way.

Entrepreneurship is a beautiful thing but it carries its own set of challenges that are difficult to share with others not in the same position.  Support by way of peers and mentorship is a definite must.
